I am getting transferred, I leave tomorrow to go open Pretoria East. It is one most challenging areas in the mission. I'm getting a cool Elder, Elder Tolman. We will work hard and hopefully things will pick up in that area. So this letter is kinda short, so I apologize. Ill send a longer letter next week.

Hello, this is Elder Flanagan, your son, you may have forgotten me, but I have not forgotten you. Man, you guys got rid of the Bronco. That means there is space in the garage for dad to buy me a camaro or mustang, right? hahaha
So today we went to Polokwane, visited a snake and bird park. I sent pictures. It was cool, and only costed $2. It was pretty nice. We went with the new senior missionary couple. There was a ton of cool snakes and birds. Even a couple monkeys, and a parrot that said "bye-bye."
The past two Saturdays we have had mormon helping hands at Voortrekker Hospital. Cleaning the weeds and sweeping parking lots, usually like 3 hours of service each week. It has been good.
After the helping hands, we held a missionary fireside. With talks and videos on missionary work. We divided everyone into their auxiliaries like young mens and, young womens. We had them all set goals on inviting friends to church, and seeing who they can rescue before 2017. It hopefully motivated them to do missionary work.
We have two new investigators this week who are really prepared. No doubt in my mind they will love the Gospel and become baptized and go to the temple. They already love the Gospel and have tons of friends supporting them and helping us teach them so its good. Our other investigators although they are few in numbers are doing quite well. We finally got our car back so we are able to see the people we need to see.
I think that's all that is new this week from me! I'll keep Aunt Rose and Gaby in my prayers. Love and miss you guys!
Yours Truly, Elder Flanagan

Thobela (spedi for hello, hopefully I spelled it right), My week has been good. On Wednesday, we were just beginning our day and then the clutch started only going in halfway and then we roll up to a stop sign and then I could not get into first and the clutch completely got jammed. It turns out the master cylinder or something was broken so we wont get our car back until tomorrow. We have been walking and building muscles. We don't get to see as many people though. So remember how last week my companion told our investigator to name her soon to be born son Christian? So we visited her Saturday, we ask her how her baby is and then we ask her what she named him. It turns out the baby was actually a girl, the doctors were wrong. So we were like well she didn't name her child after us. It turns out she names her daughter Christian. I was like, do you mean Christina? Nope she named her daughter Christian.
Sunday we drove up to Tzaneen for district conference. It is super green and beautiful in Tzaneen. It was a good conference. One of the 70's said something neat. It is easy to please Heavenly Father, But it is hard to satisfy him. As saints we can pray study scriptures go to church and other things and please Heavenly Father. But do we satisfy him, basically meaning is what we are doing enough, or all that we could be doing in magnifying our callings and such. That's one thing that stood out to me. I did get the package, thanks for all the stuff inside! My companion loved it too, he said its the best mail he has gotten on his mission. The shirt was really funny. The chocolates sadly melted a lot so they are not as nice as they could be, but HEY, its still chocolate. I put the holy tabbs in my scriptures and it helps a lot. Now we have to go walk to the store and buy groceries, I think ill be fat and get some ice cream :).
Love you guys!
